At Lehua Lane, we make thoughtful gifting effortless.

When your brand depends on personal details, the right gift speaks volumes… but it can be challenging to bring your intention to life. That’s why we created our custom gifting solution that makes each gift feel meaningful and effortless.

We collaborate with Hawai’ian hotels, event planners, corporate teams, and individuals to create custom gifts that are rooted in place and deeply personal—whether that means 200 favors for a destination wedding, a few last-minute welcome gifts for VIP guests, or a birthday present for your best friend.

Each gift is carefully curated from our rotating inventory of unique, small-batch, and exclusive products, with an elegant presentation to match.

Our work is shaped by years in luxury hospitality, a reverence for craft, and a commitment to integrity in every relationship. That’s why we give you the same level of care that you give your clients. Whether you need personalized embroidery on short notice or fresh ideas that continually set your brand apart, we help you create a lasting impact every time.

It’s the thought that counts. Let us handle the rest.

Meet the Founders

Two sisters who share a passion for craft, community, and care.

amanda.ampon@lehualane.com

Amanda is a hospitality professional and community builder who loves creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences. Over the past decade, she’s worked across Hawai’ian hotel operations, event coordination, and restaurant management—most recently at The Ritz-Carlton, Turtle Bay.

In addition to launching Lehua Lane, she and her husband Ed founded Ho‘omaluhia Horse Rescue Hawai‘i, a nonprofit dedicated to equine rehabilitation and sustainable community programs.

Amanda’s greatest joy comes from building spaces that make people feel welcomed, seen, and loved. She is a proud mom of two young boys and is most at peace when she’s with her family in nature.

Hannah Lorenz

Co-Founder & Creative Director
hannah.lorenz@lehualane.com

Hannah comes from a marketing background—primarily working for boutique, service-based businesses, including a luxury travel advisory. In 2024, she started Hannah Lorenz Marketing, helping small businesses grow with cost-effective and non-soul-sucking marketing strategies.

Hannah is passionate about giving the perfect gift, supporting small businesses, and bringing people together. When the opportunity came to launch Lehua Lane, she decided to move from Chicago to Hawai’i to help Amanda bring her vision to life.

Outside of work, she loves camping, yoga, binging “whodunnit” audiobooks, and attending all kinds of local events.

Why the Lehua?

The ʻōhiʻa lehua tree holds great ecological and cultural significance in Hawai’i.

According to Hawai’ian legend, ʻŌhiʻa and Lehua were young lovers, deeply devoted to each other. The goddess Pele fell in love with ʻŌhiʻa, but he rejected her—and in her rage, Pele transformed ʻŌhiʻa into a twisted, gnarled tree.

Lehua, heartbroken, pleaded with the gods to reunite them. Taking pity on her, they turned Lehua into a blossom and placed her upon the tree, so the lovers would be joined forever.

To this day, it’s said that if you pluck a lehua flower from the tree, it will rain, symbolizing Lehua’s tears as she is separated from her beloved once again.

Each lehua flower is remarkably delicate—but a tree in bloom is impossible to ignore, bursting with vibrant color.

It’s a sight that reminds you to slow down and appreciate the beauty around you. To savor a moment of connection that you won’t find anywhere else.

This is exactly the feeling we wish to inspire with every Lehua Lane gift.

Giving Back

The ʻōhiʻa lehua tree symbolizes the bond between people and the ʻāina—Hawaiʻi’s land. It is also a keystone species in Hawaiʻi’s native ecosystems and essential to our water systems, capturing fresh water and anchoring the soil.

The ʻōhiʻa lehua makes up about 80% of Hawai’i’s native forests—but it is under serious threat from a fast-spreading fungal disease known as Rapid ʻŌhiʻa Death. To help protect this vital plant, a portion of our profits goes toward reforestation projects and efforts to combat ROD.

It’s our way of honoring the land that inspires our work and the communities that call it home.

Our Values

Craft

We focus on small-batch goods from local and Native Hawai’ian-owned businesses—beautiful, meaningful pieces made with intention and rooted in place.

Community

Relationships and reciprocity are at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to amplifying local makers with a listening-first approach.

Care

To us, care means more than great service. It’s a responsibility—to care for the land (mālama ʻāina), to care for our communities, and to care for each client as if they were family.
